Michel Jewellers Kinsale at Home Report

The sixth annual Michel Jewellers Kinsale at Home, with in excess of 50 boats from across the fleets, was blessed with a rare occurrence this summer, namely sunshine and it made for a fabulous visual spectacle in the harbour!

Irish South Coast Dragon Championship 2008

The beautiful town of Kinsale hosted the annual Irish South Coast Dragon Championship sponsored by Dragon sailor and local chandler James Matthews last weekend seeing some very close racing in a variety of light breezes.

Denmark got off to a flying start in the first day of the ISAF Nations Cup Regional Final (Open) Europe II, with Mads EBLER and his crew scoring an almost perfect 5 victories from 6 matches.

Unfortunately, with a complex depression of 971 hPa, near Iceland, continuing to deepen and associated frontal troughs approaching in a very strong southwest airflow, racing has had to be abandoned for the day.

Denmark claim Europe (Open) II Title

Denmark is the latest nation to have earned their place in the ISAF Nations Cup 2009 Grand Final in Brazil. The Danish team were declared winners after the final day’s match racing of the Regional Final was lost due to gale force winds.
