Racing for the 2011 Squib South Coast Championship in the most robust One Design keelboat class in Ireland took place over the May Bank Holiday weekend in Kinsale. This was the first of the 2011 Irish Squib Travellers' Trophy events and attracted entries from Leinster, Ulster and Connaucht to bolster the resurgent Munster fleet.
