We will open on Tuesday mornings for the ever popular coffee mornings from 9am to 1pm and reopen at 16.45 thereafter for the remainder of the week. Weekend opening hours will remain as usual.

This Friday night the 25th September is our END OF SUMMER PARTY! This was a very popular night last year and is our last opportunity for an informal club gathering before the October Leagues disperse us! This year the party will also be a Junior Sailing Fundraiser so it’s important that we support this event. The inflatable Palm Tree will return for fun on the dance floor so dig out your “Flowery Shirts” and bring along your friends. PLEASE BOOK YOUR TICKETS ASAP! Music by “Midnight Mark” The food this year is Tapas and More!

He is hoping to hold these courses, one for beginners and one for the more advanced of us in mid October, the cost of the course will be €200 Brian is donating €50 of this to Junior Sailing. This is a fantastic opportunity to see how the pro’s do it! Check out his information on our website www.Kyc.ie for more.

Further dates for your diary Laying up Supper Friday 6th November, we will notify you when tickets are available and I would again remind you that as tickets are limited they must be paid for at the time of booking, this is only fair to all members and will avoid disappointment to others.

The Kids Christmas Regatta will be either late Nov or early Dec. dates to be confirmed. The Kids Christmas Party will be on Sunday 13th December.

The Adults Christmas Party will be on Friday 18th December.

AUTUMN/WINTER SUPPER CLUB Our chef Mick is hoping to hold a supper club over the autumn/winter probably twice a month, he is open to suggestions re food (Asian night, Italian night etc.) To make this commercially viable he would need to have at least 40 people eating on these nights, in order to gauge this, we are requesting that you contact the club to voice your interest in this.

As always, if you would like to book a private function in the club, please contact any member of the social committee, we are only too willing to help!

That’s it for now, SEE YOU ALL FRIDAY!
