Club Bar

Welcome to Kinsale Yacht Club’s Bar

As a club, KYC prides itself on the relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The large sun terrace is an all day magnet for members and visitors alike, morning coffee to sundowners, watching local fishermen unloading the catch of the day and the local seals waiting for any scraps to be had! This is a hugely popular area with our members and a great spot for after racing discourse. The terrace is perfect for sunny summer BBQ’s too.

The Club is a popular venue for fundraising evenings, including our annual Spalpeen Trophy Race, a major contributor to our near neighbours, the local RNLI.

As an exciting finish to the year for younger members, we hold our annual Xmas party which sees Santa arriving by boat with gifts for the little ones. Adults get to let their hair down when we host the annual Dodgy Christmas Jumper Night! These are enjoyable events for all age groups.

We have a highly competitive and growing Sailability Class at KYC so the bar area and terrace are easily accessible by lift and ramps.

There is a weekly Tuesday Coffee Morning, year-round, much appreciated by members and a great way for people to catch up.

At the rear of the Club bar is an area known as The Old Dining Room. This room can be partitioned from the main bar area by glass doors and is a perfect spot for meetings and private dinner functions.
