Hi all, Starboard 2020 will now be held on Thursday 12th March from 19.30.
Mike O’Connor wants to change around the format of this rules night to make it a competition between the various club classes. Each Class Captain will be required to submit a team of four to compete in a virtual race around a course interactively which will generate various scenarios in which the rules of racing will become relevant. Each team will then be asked for their ruling on who is in the right in each scenario. Mike will award points to the correct team in each case. He wants this format to be both interesting and fun! Should make for interesting watching too! As we all know, we have some major sailing events in the club this year with the Squibs and Dragons especially and the Cruisers always need a refresher!!
See below from Mike.
