The Kinsale Yacht Club Squib Series 3, sponsored by WACKI Ceramics, concluded on Thursday, August 29th, after an exhilarating 10-race competition spanning five weeks.

With 17 boats vying for top honors, Fuggles, helmed by John Sullivan and Paul Bowen, emerged victorious in the Gold Fleet. Kachina, sailed by Karl Dempsey and Jim Grennan, secured second place, while Plan B, with Pat Salter and a crew rotation of Avril Lysaght and Matthew Ahern, took third.  In the Silver Fleet, Sibu, skippered by Geraldine and Denis Kieran, claimed the top spot.

Racing continues in September as the fleet prepares for the annual Inland Regatta at Lough Derg.
