The Custom Rigging Frostbite Series finally got underway this past Sunday, February 2nd, a week later than scheduled due to stormy conditions.

Twelve Squibs took to the water, and competitors were rewarded with perfect sailing under clear skies.

Atomic, helmed by Ian Travers and Keith O’Riordan, made a strong start, claiming victory in Race 1, with Allegro—sailed by Colm Dunne and Rob Gill—finishing second. However, Allegro quickly found its form, securing wins in Races 2 and 3, taking an early lead in the series.

Atomic sits in 2nd overall, while Banshee, sailed by Brian and Alex Goggin, holds 3rd.

With four weekends of racing still ahead, competition remains wide open.  Expect fierce battles on the water as the fleet chases Allegro in the weeks to come.
