Week 3 of the Custom Rigging Frostbite Series saw 15 Squibs face a fresh 15-20 knot southeasterly breeze for three thrilling races. Lucky Number (Sam Hunt & Jon McClean) set the pace with back-to-back wins in Races 1 and 2, holding off Fagin (Harvey Tucker & Harvey Matthews) and Klipbok (Mikey Carroll & Colm O’Regan) in the opener, before edging out Atomic (Ian Travers & Keith O’Riordan) and Crackers (Sean & Paul Murphy) in the second showdown.
Race 3 saw Crackers break through for a win, with Atomic and Fagin rounding out the podium. With just two weeks remaining, Atomic maintains a commanding lead in the overall standings, but with shifting conditions and strong competition, the battle is far from over!
