The countdown is on and so is the momentum.
Entries for this year’s Inishtearaght Skelligs Race 2026, sponsored by Cantor Fitzgerald have now climbed to a fleet of 21 boats.
The race team are thrilled with this cracking turnout for one of the most striking courses on the calendar, threading the wild waters between the Blaskets and the Skelligs off our southwest coast.
This year we wanted to mark the occasion with something genuinely special, so we commissioned renowned West Cork sculptor Paddy McCormack to create a set of bespoke trophies. The results are spectacular. A piece of West Cork artistry waiting for the winners of:

- Echo
- Double-Handed IRC
These are prizes worth racing hard for.
With 21 entries in this is shaping up to be a memorable event.
