Tuesday May 26th 2026, a beautiful evening at Kinsale Yacht Club.

The trophy table glinting in the evening sun with prizes prepared for the 2026 Inishtearaght Skelligs Race.

Starting this Friday 29th of May in Kinsale, the now 20 boat fleet will track the dramatic West Cork and Kerry coasts. A course of up to 240 nautical miles.

Cantor Fitzgerald Ireland is aboard this year as the events sponsor, a partnership that reflects the growing standing of the race on the Irish offshore racing calendar. The firm was warmly welcomed to Kinsale Yacht Club on Tuesday evening by Commodore Anthony O’Neill, where the trophies were unveiled ahead of the start.

The boats are making their final preparations and the long road west is waiting.

Now there is only the small matter of deciding who takes the silverware home!

Fair winds to all who take the start…
