The Lough Ree and Kinsale combination of John Malone (Lough Ree YC), Emmet Sheridan (Lough Ree YC), Sam Hunt (KYC) and Cian McCarthy (KYC) has turned the Day 3 chase into the lead.

IRC Class 1 Trevor Middleton’s Black Sheep with Micheal O’Suilleabhain (KYC) aboard sits third.

In IRC double-handed, Kinsale’s father and son Tony and Jack Kingston have Shindig in forth. The double-handed game rewards patience. The gaps are slim and there are miles enough to make them count.

Cruisers, Shindig have the lead position. They are 3rd in IRC Class 4.
